Darin and I both feel so incredibly loved and blessed! One of my closest friends, Krista, along with the help of my family and her family, threw me a very large and beautiful shower on March 20. In lieu of cards, guests bought books to get Hunter's personal library off to a great start. Guests also decorated onesies, so each time we put one of those decorated onesies on Hunter, we will be reminded of all those special people in our lives. It was an amazing way to celebrate hitting the third trimester and to get lots of amazing gifts in preparation for Hunter's arrival. Also in March, another close friend, Denise, hosted a Clorox baby shower for Tim and his pregnant wife, Lisa, and for me and Darin. My co-workers got us the adorable Lamb swing that I wanted for Hunter. They also got us a HUGE basket full of goodies including more books. In April, Narnia, a very sweet friend from church, hosted a Rivers Crossing Community Church (RC3) shower for me at her house. There were 20+ people in attendance, including several of the high school/college youth from church. Narnia made sure to shower me with love and advice from others! All the gifts were so generous and wonderful! Also in April, Darin's company, ERM, hosted a baby shower for Jodi and Mike, Kim and Greg, and me and Darin. All three babies are due this summer. We got many great gifts from all of Darin's co-workers! If four different baby showers didn't make us feel loved and prepared for Hunter's arrival, I am not sure what would.
