Hunter's Ears

Hunter is currently fighting his 4th ear infection. On Tuesday, we took Hunter to the pediatrician for a follow up from his 3rd double ear infection. The doctor told us that there was no infection but there was fluid on both ears. He has had fluid on both ears since September. The pediatrician recommended that we see an ENT about getting tubes in his ears. So, we made an appointment for this coming Monday. When Darin picked Hunter up from daycare yesterday, he asked how Hunter did for the day. It was the first time that they had ever responded that he was crabby. Darin suggested to me that we make a doctor's appointment for Hunter today, so I called and got him one for this morning. Last night was rough. Hunter was up four different times. After his appointment this morning, we know why. He has an ear infection in his right ear on top of battling a nasty cold and teething. At the doctor's recommendation, I took a sick day and stayed home with Hunter. Hopefully with antibiotics and Tylenol, Hunter will sleep better tonight.
