11 Months Old

Hunter is 11 months and four days old today. In less than a month, my baby will be one year old! Time flies!

- Hunter officially started walking a couple weeks ago.
- His 6 weeks of healthiness ended about 2 weeks ago. He had a viral sinus and ear infection which caused his fever to spike to 103-104 degrees. He is well now though.
- Hunter loves to the throw the ball. He throws straight most of the time.
- Darin and I believe that Hunter's first official word was ball.
- We transitioned in the last couple weeks from breast feeding and some formula to all formula. If Hunter noticed or minded, he sure didn't show it.
- He is more shy around strangers. He will bury his face in my shoulder and suck his thumb until he warms up to the strangers.
- Hunter randomly grabs blankets and pulls them over his face and waits for you to ask, "Where's Hunter?" before he pulls the blanket down. With a huge grin on his face, he waits for you to say, "There he is." Then, he pulls it over his face again.
- He gives his daddy lots more kisses than he gives me. I get more snuggles than anyone else, but I get less kisses.
- Hunter thinks his daddy is hilarious. He giggles multiple times a day thanks to his daddy.
- He refuses all baby food except applesauce. He loves feeding himself foods that he can pick up. His favorite food seems to be cheese. His favorite vegetables are peas and corn. He scarfs down hot dogs, turkey sausage and chicken nuggets.
- He weighs somewhere between 25-27 lbs. He is wearing 18/24 month shirts; 18 month shorts; 24 month sleepers.
