Hunter's 1st birthday was yesterday, June 12, 2011. His party was the day prior. We had a family only party. Grandma & Grandpa Hintz drove up from Florida. Aunt Joan & Aunt Liz drove up from Georgia. Pop, Nana, Aunt Emily, Kole, Chase and Ansley came to the party too.

When everyone first got to the party, we all hung out on the deck for a little bit. Aunt Emily was able to get some snuggle time in with Hunter.
I think it was initially decided that next year Hunter only needs boxes, bows and helium filled balloons instead of gifts.
He wasn't so interested in opening the presents, so we let Kole and Chase get started on opening some of their gifts.
I eventually helped Hunter unwrap his new vacuum and lawn mower. He was quite pleased with both and wanted to play with them right away.

After a quick bath to wash off the chocolate birthday cake, Nana gave Hunter a ride in his new car.
Aunt Joan, Aunt Liz and Nana took turns holding and caring for Ansley so that Aunt Emily could really enjoy the party.
