Henry James Hintz was born via c-section on 6/20/2012 at 4:54PM. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and is 20.5 inches long. Henry is a little gymnast. The day prior to his birth, the ultrasound showed him head down. My labor was induced due to high BP. After my water had been broken for about 6.5 hours, the mid-wife checked me and grabbed the mobile ultrasound machine. Henry was breach, so I was scheduled for a c-section at 4:30. Though c-section was not at all how I wanted to deliver Henry, all went very well. Darin is such an amazing husband and father. Since my motion is pretty limited, he does everything including changing all the dirty diapers and hunting through the entire hospital for anything I want.
We have had a great experience with all the amazing nurses in this hospital. We're hoping to be discharged tomorrow or Sunday. We're so thankful that Pop and Nana were already in town so they can take care of Hunter. Aunt Joan and Aunt Liz have been so helpful and accomdating as well.
