- Started saying apples this weekend. He even said apple sauce.
- Recognizes and excitedly exclaims boons whenever he sees balloons - even carton balloons on TV.
- Calls Darin, "Daddy" instead of "DaDa." He also consistently says, "Mama."
- Loves to put trash in the trash can. If requested, he will even take trash from one room into another in search of a trash can.
- Puts the newspapers and ads that are in both our driveway and our neighbors' driveway in the neighbor's mailbox. (We pull ours out as soon as he isn't looking.)
- To let us know that he wants to go outside, he will bring you your shoes. Or he will point to the top of the armoire where his shoes are and then he plops down on the floor to wait for you to put on his shoes for him.
- He likes to play hide n seek. Of course, he is in plain sight and stands there smiling and giggling as you walk around the room saying, "Where's Hunter?"
- When Darin says, "Let's check your diaper." Hunter stands with his back to Darin.
- Hunter loves Mrs. Jane. She is only in his classroom on Fridays, but Fridays are his best day of the week. His behavior at school and after school is noticeably better. She keeps the kids busy and gives them lots of love. He comes home smelling like Mrs. Jane's perfume.
- Some days are absolutes battles when it comes to eating. Other days, he will eat anything put in front of him.

I love how they bring you shoes when they want to go out...that brought back memories.
ReplyDeleteHunter even pays attention to which shoes are mine and which are Darin's. It is adorable! Hunter would be very happy to stay outside forever. The only way to coax him in without a fight is to wait until he is hungry. He will go inside more willingly then.
