Hunter seems to dislike his high chair much more now that he is eating at a table at daycare. Darin and I thought maybe using a different type of seating would help. Hunter still fussed a little about having to sit in this chair, but the tantrum wasn't quite as big as last night. We're debating whether or not we should buy a table and chairs from Ikea so that he has his own kid sized table to eat on at home or if we should just ignore the tantrums and keep putting him in his high chair at home.

Best thing: Cooshee Booster Seat. No food gets down in it and it's easy to clean. Hunter can sit at the table with you and it's easy to take places too. Best thing ever!
ReplyDeleteWe are experiencing the exact same thing! Our high chair converts to a toddler chair so I am thinking about taking the tray off and putting her up at the table. She must sit still out of peer pressure at school because when she sits in a regular chair with us it is impossible to get her to sit still! She wants to stand, climb on the table... do anything but sit and eat! I am thinking of trying the child size table, too - let me know how it goes!
