Eight Months Old

Hunter turned eight months old on Saturday. Poor guy has been sick for almost a month. He got a cold that went into a sinus infection and ear infections. He is on a stronger antibiotic and stronger ear drops now, so hopefully both infections will go away completely this time. Hunter has continued to thrive and learn new things. He is crawling, "army style." Hunter's official first word is Dada. I don't know that he completely associates the word with the person, but it is still so cute whenever he says it. He has tried more foods including peas, bananas, applesauce, pears, green beans, carrots, and Gerber puffs. Hunter transitioned to the next classroom at daycare and loves it. Despite a month of sickness, Hunter is still the happiest little guy.

I wanted to post a picture from the day that Hunter turned 8 months old. Not only does this photo seem to showcase how badly Hunter needs his first haircut, but it also shows Hunter practicing his pincer grasp by eating Gerber puffs.
