Grandma & Grandpa's Visit

Grandma and Grandpa drove down from Cleveland on Friday and stayed until around noon on Sunday. They chose this past weekend to visit so they could attend Chase and Kole's joint birthday party (there will be a separate post on this though). Grandma and Grandpa hadn't seen Hunter since the day after he was born. They were both surprised by how much he has changed in 5 short weeks. Understandably, Grandma couldn't wait to get her hands on Hunter. We got lots of pictures of Grandma and Hunter, but this is my favorite one.

This is the only picture that we have of Grandpa looking at the camera instead of Hunter when he was holding him.

I love this picture because Hunter is sort of smiling. Hunter is smiling more and more, but it is still pretty tough to capture on camera.

Grandma and Grandpa babysat Hunter on Friday night so that Darin and I could go on a date. We used a gift certificate for Bravo that my Dad and Pat had given us. The food was delicious and the time together was wonderful. We were able to go to a couple stores and still made it home in less than 2 hours. Hunter slept for more than hour of that time, but Grandma and Grandpa still got to change a diaper, feed him a bottle and play with him before we got home. Hunter loved seeing his grandparents. We will see them again next month when we go up north for Hunter's first visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the first time.
