Today we celebrated Ansley's first birthday and her baptism. Ansley's birthday party was this morning. She had 11 other children there including her brothers, cousins, and friends. Emily did a great job of planning activities and giving the party a really good flow of events. All the children appeared to have a really good time. Watching the children hit the pinata was especially funny. After the party, most of us went our separate ways so the children could take naps before Ansley's baptism tonight. Ansley looked beautiful in the baptism gown that my mom sewed and smocked. She's the first of the grandchildren to actually be able to wear the gown. I don't have any pictures of her in the gown to include in this post, so I'm attaching a picture from last weekend's Easter festivities.
