We spent the first week in September at Darin's parents' new house in southern Florida. Hunter did extremely well on his first airplane ride. He slept in Darin's arms for about 30 minutes each way. We had a few sunny days, a couple cloudy days and a rainy day. We were able to take Hunter to the pool, beach and splash pad a couple times. He loved the beach immediately. He only ate a few handfuls of sand. Hunter made friends both times we went to the splash pad. We ate delicious food both at home and at various seafood restaurants. Hunter fell in love with Grandma and Grandpa's kitty cat named Hobie. Hunter chased and called after him, "Ho, Ho!" Our vacation was a wonderful combination of water fun, relaxation and activities. Our hosts could not have been more wonderful or accommodating. They watched Hunter a couple afternoons so we could go to the pool and two nights so that we could go out to dinner.
